It makes me so sad when people deny Christianity and say that if God loved us then..why can't people see that?

People deny Christianity so much that it is heartrending. People always say stuff like" If God loves us so much why would he send us to a big fiery lake? Christianity is stupid." Don't people see how much God loves us? He gave his ONLY son up just for us. He knew that people still wouldn't accept his sacrifice and he did it for us. God loves us so much he forgives us evr time we sin. WE were made for good and in the image and likeness of God. Why can't people understand this.
