B&A: May I have some opinions on a piece of writing please?

I like it. The dialogue seems realistic and unstrained. Honestly, the only real critique I can offer is in the opening sentence: "A lone Queen." Is there normally more than one queen? Unless you are talking about the Chronicles of Narnia, no. As for capitalization of Queen, it's writer's choice.
